This is one version of twelve days in Oman — drawn from a real journey, designed for someone else. Yours would begin entirely differently. That is precisely the point.

Desert Nights Camp faces east. At 5am you walk to the top of the nearest dune alone. No one tells you when to go. Breakfast appears when you come back down. Three days with nothing required.
Alila sits on the canyon edge. The infinity pool ends where the valley begins — a 400-metre drop below. A woman from the village brings rose water she distilled that morning. You drink it at the edge.

There is a kind of travel that changes nothing.
Expensive hotels. Curated itineraries. The same photographs you have seen before. It is comfortable. It is safe. And when you come back, you are exactly who you were when you left.
Then there is the other kind.
I grew up in a family that has been arranging travel for thirty years. I watched what happened to people who came back from the right journey — not just rested, but genuinely altered. Quieter in some ways. Larger in others.
I also watched what the industry had become. Platforms. Algorithms. Packages designed to appeal to everyone — which means they are designed for no one.
Auravia is my answer to that. I am Ruben. I created Auravia from the conviction that travel should not leave you unchanged — and that designing the right journey requires one person who is genuinely paying attention, not a system.
Auravia operates under the licence of Mirabilia Voyages — a French-licensed travel agency with thirty years of history. Every journey is legally contracted under French consumer law. Your money is protected before a single booking is confirmed.
The structure is protected by law.
The attention is not.
That is simply how we work.
Anything. A place, a feeling, a photograph you keep returning to. We come back to you personally within 48 hours.
We come back to you with something to react to. One proposal, built from what you told us — not from a template. If it is not right, we go again.
Once you say yes, everything is formalised under French law. Payments protected. Contracts real. You travel with the confidence of a regulated operator — and none of the paperwork.

When you submit a journey request, we collect: your name, email address, phone number (optional), travel preferences, and indicative budget. This information is provided voluntarily by you. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics tools.
Your information is used solely to respond to your journey request and design a travel proposal. If you approve a journey, relevant personal data (name, contact details, travel preferences) will be transmitted to Mirabilia Voyages et Sens for the purpose of booking and contracting. We do not sell your personal data, and it is never shared with any other third party without your explicit agreement.
We process your data on the basis of your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), given when you submit the form. You may withdraw consent at any time by writing to hello@auravia.com.
We retain your data for as long as necessary to fulfil your request — typically no longer than 3 years after our last interaction, unless French law requires otherwise.
Under the GDPR and French data protection law, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and port your personal data. To exercise these rights, write to hello@auravia.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL at www.cnil.fr.
